About Me

SB standing beside the allotment shedI am a senior lecturer at the University of Edinburgh with an interest in digital and sustainable education.

This blog is a space for me to share my thoughts on sustainability in all its forms – from my fondness for earthworms to my research on sustainable education; hence, the title!

I will also reflect on my own sustainability – not just in practice (yes, back to wormbins again 🙂 ), but in terms of my physical sustainability. Since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, that’s on my mind too.

My research profile is available via the Edinburgh Research Explorer and my professional profile is on LinkedIn. I also tweet at @sboydie.

Please note: while I will refer to my work on various professional projects, any views or opinions presented on this blog are solely those of the author and do not represent those of my employer.
